Why Ticketed Events?
We are now charging $5 a ticket for some author events. The Northshire Bookstore has a 34 year history of offering free author events to the community and we will continue this policy for most events. However, the current economic climate in the publishing world is making it more difficult to get top flight authors to Manchester and we are experimenting with ways to help address this issue. A $5 ticket, which can be applied to the purchase of the book, has been successful at other respected independent stores in the country. We hope you feel the events are worth the price of admission.
